Elisa Gusler
I am Elisa, a children’s book author currently living in North Carolina with my husband and our rescue pup, Leo. Because of my husband’s military career, life has taken us on many adventures to new places — and Leo has always been right by our side. Together, we’ve seen beautiful corners of the world, and Leo’s joyful, quirky spirit has made every stop along the way even more memorable.
One evening, while sharing stories about our travels, we laughed and said, “Leo should really write a book about all his adventures.” That playful idea quickly grew into something more: the beginning of my dream to create Leo’s Adventures, a children’s book series inspired by his real-life journey.
I hope Leo’s Adventures will bring a smile to every reader’s face. These stories are meant to share the joy of adventures, the love between people and their pets, and the special magic that rescue dogs bring into our lives.

Leo
Hi, I’m Leo! I’m a rescue pup with a nose for adventure and the star of the Leo’s Adventures book series. My story began nine years ago, and ever since then I’ve been busy collecting memories and turning them into tales worth sharing. From new places to new faces, there’s always something exciting waiting for me.
When I’m not the star of a story, you’ll probably catch me doing what I do best: sneaking snacks, chasing cozy nap spots, and soaking up as many cuddles as I can get. Life is never boring when you’ve got a wagging tail, a curious nose, and humans who adore you.
Come along and discover my adventures—I promise there will be plenty of fun, laughter, and maybe even a few crumbs left behind.
